About me

I am an experienced licensed therapist dedicated to helping adults through life's complex challenges. I may understand your situation since I have been through many of life's challeges myself.

I've been doing this work for over 20 years now, and I'll tell you—everyone deserves compassionate, accessible mental health care.

I'm a licensed therapist in Michigan who specializes in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, addiction, codependency, relationship challenges, domestic violence, and life transitions. I've always worked with folks who might feel like quality therapy is out of reach, and that's still who I see. That's where my heart is, helping people who thought they couldn't get help heal, process, and grow into the best version of themselves and live their best life.
My therapeutic style emphasizes creating a supportive, non-judgemental space where we can get real about what's working, what's not, and how to build the coping skills and confidence you need to move forward. Whether you're dealing with mood disorders, relationship struggles, or just feeling stuck, I'm here to walk alongside you with genuine care and practical support.
What to expect in our first session: We'll start with introductions—you can share what brought you to therapy, and I'll ask questions to understand more about you and your story. You'll spend this time telling me about yourself, your background, your challenges. After that, we look at the goals you'd like to accomplish while in therapy. Think of it as us getting to know each other so we can map out what actually matters to you, so you can achieve your goals in a way that works for you.

I work with people from all walks of life, and I have a special heart for seniors, individuals in recovery, and anyone who's been told therapy "isn't for people like them." (Spoiler: it absolutely is.)

You've already taken the hardest step by being here. We can figure the rest out together.
