About me
I am a registered therapeutic counsellor, and I have been training and working in the counseling field since 2014. I have worked with clients from different backgrounds who have experienced a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and communication issues. I am passionate about delivering client-centered support that empowers you to make informed decisions to help move forward in your life.
My counseling approach is rooted in the belief that the client is ultimately the expert in their own lives, and to facilitate this, we will work as a partnership throughout. The space will be one of no judgment, empathy, and with a non-directive approach. The emphasis will be to work in the here and now, keeping in mind that past events can be triggered by present events.
I work with the whole person; this would include exploring your relationship with yourself and others. Your belief systems, examining self-beliefs and whether they remain true today, and the impact of the world we live in and how this connects to the presenting issues and beyond. We work at your own pace and when you feel comfortable looking at deeper issues.
My therapy approach combines person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. I will tailor my approach to meet your specific needs.
I am here to support you in taking the first brave step toward change.
