I'm Susan Krushinsky, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) based in Westport, CT. I work with adults and couples throughout Fairfield and New Haven County — both in person and via telehealth — who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, and the everyday stress that comes with big decisions and change.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in architecture and real estate, which gave me a grounded, practical understanding of how people manage stress, transitions, and major life decisions. I bring that real-world perspective into my clinical work, alongside my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and experience in residential, community mental health, and outpatient settings.
Clients often tell me I'm warm, easy to talk to, and calm — and that's exactly the kind of space I aim to create. In our sessions, we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you: exploring patterns, identifying strengths, and developing real strategies you can use in daily life. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, with a little more clarity and a few concrete steps forward.
