About me
Dr. Kurlansik's orientation is cognitive-behavioral. His treatment approach is collaborative, and is based on what research has shown to be most effective for overcoming problems rapidly. He was a faculty member at Virtua Family Medicine Residency for twenty years, with several publications to his credit. He is now in private practice on a full-time basis.
Dr. Kurlansik is a skilled diagnostician with experience in treating a wide range of problems, including anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, and relationship issues. He has trained both physicians and psychologists in the treatment of mental health issues, as well as in effective interview skills. He believes that warmth, empathy, mutual respect and a bit of humor are essential to the therapy process. He truly enjoys his patients and his work, and always strives to treat his patients as he would want to be treated. For the convenience of his patients, Dr. Kurlansik is practicing exclusively through teletherapy, and is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
