About me
I am experienced child psychologist and author in private practice dedicated to helping children and teens cope with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, anger, depression, anxiety, and social isolation.
I have been in this field since 1986 as a special education teacher, school counselor, Medical Psychotherapist, and independent psychologist. I have worked in schools and with schools and am now in private practice and have been for over 25 years. I offer neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, diagnoses and treatment. I have a close working relationship with other professionals involved in the child/ adolescent's treatment including pediatricians, psychiatrists, family therapists, learning centers, and school personnel. I have offered group therapy in the past but currently besides evaluations individual and family therapy using CBT and DBT techniques. I love what I do and the population I serve. I accept most insurance plans except Cigna, Tri-Health, and Medicaid. I treat from four years of age until 21 or out of formal education if after 21.
