Hello and thank you for taking the first step towards healing, you are worth it! Finding Hope and Healing exists to help you experience a full and fulfilling life, living with purpose and hope! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio and can meet with you in person or through telehealth, I am also a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. With EMDR training I and can offer some methods from EMDR to help you move past trauma and find a more regulated body. I also work from a faith-informed modality and offer this in session, if that helps with your goals. I am trained in I-FAST, an evidence-based family systems therapy that allows me to help your family move towards unity and healing, also trained in CAMS to help treat suicidality and love to work with people who need to take the next step towards understanding their identity, and purpose - all that to say I love to look at the roots of the tree and help find ways for the tree to grow strong and healthy.

Treating clients begins with understanding the client is the expert on their life. I love to get to know my clients, and hear their stories, and develop a plan together to find the wins in their life.

Sometimes the biggest real estate in our minds gets overtaken by pain from our past, I work with you to evict those things from your mind, so you own all the roads and streets and all your "parts" are working together again.

My counseling style might be considered eclectic but I think of the patchwork quilts my grandmother made and how many pieces came together to make a beautiful piece of artwork. You deserve all the best in your therapy, and I try to pull from all the good things in each modality of training I have learned to help you move forward towards your goals. With nearly a decade in the mental health field, and years working in ministries around the community, I understand the need to have someone in your corner, someone that cares about your goals and helps you stay in your boundary lines.

As you look for a counselor, remember one thing, it's like finding a grocery store or a mechanic, you need to find the right one. If I am not "your cup of tea", I will help you find someone that is, so don't let a past bad experience with counseling, or the fear of starting counseling deter you, there are many counselors out there hoping to come along side you! You do not have to go it alone!
