Stephanie Shinkarow, LCSW

Welcome to Empathy, Empowerment, & Hope, LLC. My name is Stephanie Shinkarow and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NJ. With an expansive and diverse background of 10 years in social work, I've acquired many skills and specialties in the field. I'm well versed in a myriad of modalities that I will cater to fit your individual needs; ranging from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, anger management skills, coping skills and stress reduction. I've worked extensively with youth, adolescents, and adults providing individual and/or family therapy. I will work with you, in a caring and empathetic way, to provide tools and psychoeducation to assist treating ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, trauma, and parent/child relationships.

My practice focuses on providing a caring, safe and supportive foundation. I chose to name my private practice Empathy, Empowerment, and Hope because those 3 words mean the most to me in what I believe in and provide as a therapist. Life is hard. Especially, these days! But you don't have to struggle alone. I believe the client and therapist relationship is paramount in the best treatment outcomes.
