About me
Hi I am Stephanie! Thank you for visiting my profile! I enjoy helping clients 16 and up who are navigating a significant life transition or grappling with questions about identity, purpose, and change. I have 17 years of experience in substance use and mental health field and have significant experience in helping with complex and varied situations.
Clients may be in the process of moving from adolescence to adulthood, adjusting to new responsibilities, or re-evaluating long held patterns in relationships and behavior. Often they come to me because life feels uncertain or out of balance. They sense that something needs to shift, but aren't sure where to start.
I will start by getting to know a little bit about you and your needs, we can then develop a specific, flexible, and doable treatment plan that reflects your individuality and goals. I like to create a friendly non judgmental environment that approaches your concern with gentle and effective curiosity where we can discover abilities you didn't know you had.
I believe that every individual deserves respect and is capable of creating a meaningful life. Sometimes, taking a moment to pause, in a safe, supportive environment can help us reconnect with inner strength and foster healing. My counseling integrates evidence-based practices to address both mental health and substance use concerns.
