Hello! I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to supporting adults as they navigate the complexities of mental health, trauma, and significant life changes. My journey in this field has been defined by a deep-seated belief in the resilience of the human spirit and a commitment to providing a nonjudgmental, empowering space where healing can truly begin.
I am a licensed clinical social worker treating adults. My specialties include adjustment and life transitions, grief, loss and bereavement, trauma, chronic mood and psychotic disorders and substance use management.
My clinical work has primarily been with voluntary and involuntary adult patients admitted to psychiatric hospitals for treatment.
I worked as a therapist, case manager, discharge planner, and court liaison for inpatient psychiatric hospitals in both the rural Amarillo region and the Austin Metroplex.
I have treated issues including general symptom management of chronic depression, anxiety, mood, and psychotic disorders.
My style is ecclectic, skills, and case management based while focusing on navigating life transitions, short term change, crisis intervention, complex trauma, short-term substance detox, grief, loss, and bereavement.
My primary focus is high acutity patients with complicated issues related to managing and living with chronic mood and psychotic disorders that require full time monitoring for safety, medication management, support services navigation, and long-term community case management or residential placement.
