When human beings experience trauma or severe stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through traumatic experiences like grief, depression/self-harm when they feel like they are not enough when things get hard, and anxiety when going through different life stressors or different social situations. I wish to help clients of different ages, including children 7+, teens 12-18, and adolescents/early adults ages 18-30 to find perceptions about themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves and feel whole and safe.

I understand that one single approach does not work for every individual, which is why I want to work with each client and help them find the best modality that fits and works best during the therapeutic process.

My educational background includes a BA in Psychology and MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas Houston. I am a first-generation graduate and am highly proud of this accomplishment. Being the daughter of Spanish-speaking parents has influenced my interest in working with Spanish-speaking clients and children so they can feel open to trying therapy with someone who can clearly make them feel comfortable through this journey to heal themselves.
