I am an experienced clinician dedicated to helping individuals heal from life's storms and learn to thrive in their new environment.

At Silver Linings Therapy, I offer individual therapy for clients ages 8 and up. We start with an overarching intake to help me assess your individual needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we will identify triggers and build coping mechanisms so you can find peace.

At my practice, I offer individual therapy for adults and children, and supervision services for Residents in Counseling. My therapeutic approach for children is centered around play and art, with self-expression at the core. For adults, many of my clients prefer to talk, but baskets of fidget toys and coloring items can be made available as everyone's comfort in my office is made a priority. I encourage everyone of all ages to find what helps them feel the safest in my office, from the softest of blankets to the spot on the couch they choose, which will allow them to open up and begin to heal.

I also offer supervision services for Residents in Counseling in the state of Virginia. Although typically this is done virtually, if you are located nearby, you're welcome to come in person for these sessions if you'd like. The supervisor-supervisee relationships are designed, according to the board of counseling, to cover the roles of teacher, counselor, consultant, evaluator, and monitor of client care, with the ultimate goal of helping you reach licensure.
