About me
I am an experiential and integrative clinician specializing in the intersection of substance abuse, trauma, and neurodivergence.
Stacey Surratt, MT-BC, LCAS, AADC, CCS is a nationally Board-Certified Music Therapist, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in North Carolina, and an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor in South Carolina. She also serves as a Certified Clinical Supervisor in both North Carolina and South Carolina. In addition, Stacey is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Neurodiversity Coach, Certified Sound Healer, and Certified MARI Practitioner, with advanced training in experiential and complementary therapeutic modalities, including EMDR for trauma and addiction.
With over 15 years of experience in addiction treatment, trauma therapy, and experiential mental health care, Stacey has worked across a variety of clinical settings supporting individuals in recovery. She received her master’s degree in Music Therapy from Radford University in 2011 and her undergraduate degree in Music Performance from Elon University in 2008. She joined The Healing Collective in 2022. While credentials and clinical expertise matter, what matters most to Stacey is how her clients feel in the room — safe, seen, respected, and supported.
Stacey has been married to her soul complement for over a decade and is mama to three beautiful children and a small animal menagerie. She is also a neurodivergent adult parenting a neurodivergent child, learning with compassion how this has shaped her own story. Stacey feels most restored outdoors, especially near water. She enjoys live music, creative projects, and often finds herself joyfully hyperfocused on a new craft.
