About me
I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be heard, understood, and supported. Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I spent nearly 20 years in education and later worked as a school counselor, helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life's challenges. Those experiences shaped my compassionate, practical, and collaborative approach to therapy.
I work with adolescents, young adults, women, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, lack of motivation, difficulty with focus, family conflict, and the effects of generational or family trauma. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a new direction, I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and working toward meaningful change.
My approach is person-centered, holistic, and strengths-based. I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual, so I combine Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) when they best support your goals. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and create a path toward greater resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being.
