About me
Hello and welcome. My name is Data Sophia Arthur-Uchendu. Please call me Sophia. I help adults, whether young or older adults, using Pluralistic Psychotherapy. Because one size does not fit all, my approach aims to keep you at the fore of everything so you can get straight to what the underlying problems are, no matter your background or peculiarities and what those problems might be. I will use modalities as you need them; I approach your matters wholly with an unconditional positive regard. My practise is highly trauma informed and I combine this with a healthy dose of psychoeducation. Much of my experience has been in evidence based practise using Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT) so I will use this to your benefit without negating the significance of the life's journey you've had till this point.
I am licensed and accredited in the UK with years of professional work experience. I work with individuals and couples including people having relationship issues in family, friendships, sibling relationships and so on. This work could also be in a group. I also work very keenly with people experiencing anxiety, depression, late teen/young adult issues, men issues, family conflicts, faith based conflicts, trauma and abuse, & coping with grief and loss using a varied range of modalities all tailored to fit each unique client. I welcome clients seeking Christian faith based therapy.
Life can be complicated just by itself so seeking therapy, to ease the ever presenting complications, is a big step in the right direction. I am committed to going on this journey with you. Again, welcome.
