About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker treating clients in New York State. I work with adults of all ages and genders who are dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADHD, relationships and parenting issues.
My approach is eclectic and I use therapeutic techniques and modalities depending on the client's presenting problems, life circumstances, and goals for the future. The theoretical approaches I use most frequently are attachment, psychodynamic, relational and humanistic. During our first session, I will first explore what brings the client to therapy and learn as much as possible about your current situation. I will listen carefully and ask questions to ensure that I have a good understanding of the issues you face. I will also answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
