I have provided mental health services for almost 10 years to a diverse population of women, suffering from mental health and addiction issues.

. I utilize a client centered approach with motivational interviewing, CBT, CPT, DBT, mindfulness, relapse prevention, trigger awareness and coping skills to assist my clients with learning how to manage their symptoms. Client "specialties" are as follows (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, personality disorders, mood disorders, trauma, substance use, parenting/attachment, ineffective communication, career counseling, family systems issues.
Therapy sessions with me will depend on what the client needs are. At times, clients need to vent and process (either current or past stressors), other times, they may need to learn a new skill, like how to manage their anxiety or cravings or how to communicate with their support people or how to reduce self harm or suicidal ideations.
I value my skills and ability to provide a collaborative, warm and non-judgmental space for my clients. I have extensive experience in working with women, trauma, severe mental health and addiction. I believe in the power of the human spirit and it's resiliency and I'm honored to be considered as a therapist for you.
