Hello. I am a clinical psychologist in practice for several decades here in Cherry Hill NJ, continuing to feel the passion and commitment I do to helping adults of all ages better manage their clinical issues and grow as a person.
I am a trauma-informed therapist, with a background in the use of treatment techniques like CBT, IFS, psychodynamic therapies, emotion focused therapies, and relationship counseling. My clinical specialty areas include PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression (especially grief-based), OCD, and relationship problems, My underlying approach with all of my clients is to blend compassion and deep listening with thought-provoking, sensitively-timed challenging of self-sabotaging patterns of thinking and behaving. I also gear my work as much as possible to helping clients build up healthier relationships, with more accountability-taking, boundary-setting, and vulnerability-sharing as important ingredients in that process..
