Shydu Kato has a decade of experience treating Latinx adults, children, and families. Shydu takes a holistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach.

Shydu Kato is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Weston, Florida. They work with children, adolescents and adults of diverse backgrounds including those that are Spanish speaking. Many of Shydu's client's come in when they are having difficulties coping with life's challenges, experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety, or going through a period in their life where they would benefit from extra support and guidance. Shydu Kato is particularly passionate about empowering women and serving children in need.

Shydu Kato has a thriving interest in helping people reach their mental health goals and plans. Her work with patients starts with developing a safe and supportive partnership where patients feel comfortable to open up about their challenges and difficulties. Her belief in the strengths-based perspective and reminding patients of their strengths brings power to the partnership and the person's ability to supersede their difficulties.
