About me

Bilingual intern committed to helping youth navigate anxiety, life transitions, identity concerns, and relational difficulties with authenticity and cultural responsiveness.

I'm a graduate student under the supervision of Dr. Felicia Lewis, PhD, LPC-S, pursuing my Master's degree in Counseling at Nelson University. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish and am passionate about providing culturally responsive care to the Spanish-speaking community.

My journey into counseling has been shaped by diverse professional experiences. I've worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting children and families, served as an Office Manager at a counseling practice, mentored adolescent girls through faith-based programs, supported adults with developmental disabilities in building life skills, and provided compassionate intake support and crisis assistance as a Digital Rescue Partner Agent.

In my clinical training, I'm developing skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), grounded in a person-centered approach. I'm particularly drawn to working with young adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, family and peer relationships, identity formation, self-esteem concerns, and the impacts of shame.

What I've learned through my work is that genuine connection and nonjudgmental listening are foundational to healing. I believe that hardships do not define a person's worth, and while pain may be part of your story, it does not determine your future. My goal is to walk alongside you with authenticity and compassion, helping you rediscover your strengths and approach life's challenges with resilience.

I work under supervision of Dr. Felicia Lewis, and am committed to meeting each client where they are while encouraging meaningful growth and change.
