About me
Compassionate Mental Healthcare for Adults and Adolescents in South Carolina.
Life can be hard. Unexpected losses, illness, stress, trying to care for ourselves and all the people in our lives - it can feel overwhelming! Add anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, and trauma, and our days can seem out of control. The good news: there is hope! I understand it can be difficult. I offer a warm, safe space to explore all the things you are struggling with, providing compassionate care for a variety of clients. Your worth, dignity, values, and goals will be the basis of our work together as we build a plan to move toward your well-being and resilience.
Using evidence-based interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Person-Centered Therapy, we will focus on the issues that brought you to counseling. Exploring your strengths and challenges, we will begin to recognize patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behavior. We might even come to see these patterns as harmful ways you have coped.
Finding and utilizing new strengths and skills, we can then make a plan for how you want to engage life in the future. I can then provide you with the support needed to encourage and empower you to continue moving forward. Contact me today to schedule a free 15-minute consult to see if we might be a good fit.
