About me
With over 10 years of experience in the field, I support my clients in becoming more resilient in the face of trauma, transitions, and the stressors of everyday life.
I believe I’m the best fit for clients who are struggling with diagnoses such as anxiety and PTSD, and clients looking to focus on topics such as perfectionism, self-esteem, self-care, burnout, boundary setting, family/ relationship conflict, navigating life transitions and major life events. You’ll find that I have a kind, energetic, authentic, and friendly attitude, paired with the ability to support and motivate my clients towards change. Whether you’re in a place where you’re motivated for change or just need a compassionate listening ear, you are welcome as you are!
I typically use an eclectic approach to therapy, combining CBT techniques, motivational interviewing techniques, and family systems theories. I also have a certification in Prolonged Exposure therapy, an evidence based treatment for PTSD.
During my time as a therapist, I’ve come to learn that trauma, tragedy, and hardship can come knocking on anyone's door, no matter who you are or where you come from. Through my work I’ve had the privilege of seeing the resilience, strength, and recovery that can come out of such hardships! I'm looking forward to creating a safe, supportive space with you!
