About me
I am a therapist at Hope is Love Counseling LLC based in Charleston, SC, with six years of experience as a school counselor. I specialize in providing support to children and adolescents aged 6 to 18, as well as supporting individual adults and couples. I help clients manage a range of challenges, including behavioral issues, low self-esteem, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and more.
Adult Clients:
Are you feeling lost or overwhelmed in your journey through life? You're not alone in this struggle. Many people face challenges that can make it difficult to find direction and purpose.
Together, we can embark on this transformative journey. I am here to provide support as you navigate the difficulties you may be facing, whether they stem from personal relationships, career choices, or internal conflicts. My goal is to help you uncover and embrace your true potential, facilitating growth and resilience in the process.
Are you ready to let go of the barriers that have been holding you back? If so, I invite you to join me in a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings openly and honestly. Together, we will work on healing past wounds and building a brighter, more fulfilling future.
Children and Adolescents Clients:
Are you experiencing strong emotions but struggling to understand or express them? Do you feel misunderstood by others? You are not alone. Join me in a safe and supportive environment where we can explore your emotions together and help you discover your true self. In this supportive environment, we will explore your different feelings, helping you better understand them and ultimately find yourself.
Through open conversation and reflective exercises, we will work together to untangle your emotional experiences, allowing you to express yourself more clearly and connect with your inner world. Let's embark on this journey of figuring out yourself and creating empowerment.
My therapy approach focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment for clients. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, which aids in managing overwhelming emotions and difficult thoughts.
