I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with five years of experience working with adults, children, and teens. I support individuals facing emotional, behavioral, and life challenges, including overthinking, difficulty managing emotions, shame, low self-esteem, and communication difficulties.

My name is Shekina Adams, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of ShekinaLight Counseling Services. I have had the privilege of working with individuals in crisis settings, hospitals, emergency environments, and private practice. Through these experiences, I have supported both children and adults facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, relationship and family dynamics, mood disorders, and self-esteem.
