About me
I am experienced Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping individuals and families heal and cope with anxiety, depression and anger.
When individuals experience trauma, life stressors or transitions, it is not uncommon for their lives to feel as if it is falling apart. I would like to help bring healing to individuals that have been through these experiences. I help my clients, who include children, adults and families to find healthy perceptions of themselves to strengthen their relationships so they can learn strategies that are TaylorMade for their treatment.
I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual and so I have been trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My specialties include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Family Issues, School Issues and Post traumatic Stress Disorder.
My educational background includes a MA in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (#6710) in the State of Louisiana. I am the owner/operator of TaylorMade Therapy, LLC in Harvey, Louisiana.
