About me
I am passionate about providing a safe place to process emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy coping skills. I believe in helping each client discover their unique strengths and develop their voice to advocate for their needs and aspirations. Together, we'll work towards your goals, embracing self-compassion and developing effective strategies to address your specific struggles.
I have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and am working towards full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked in organizations that helped the unhoused, victims of assault, foster families, teens, parents, and families connected to CPS and juvenile justice. I specialize in helping clients struggling with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation/self-harm, anger management, parenting, ADHD, and gender-affirming struggles, to name a few. I believe in working with the whole person, focusing on the mind-body connection, understanding that physical health IS mental health. I would consider myself Person-Centered, a fancy way of saying that I will be your cheerleader as you continue your journey toward healing.
