My goal is to create a safe, caring space in which you feel secure enough to confront the issues troubling you free from fear of judgment or criticism.
My path to becoming a therapist started in 2000 following the loss of my first wife and my realization of the absolute importance of mental and emotional wellness. During my career I have helped those struggling with addiction, trauma, sexual addiction, pedophilia (sexual attraction to children,) hebephilia (sexual attraction to juveniles.) paraphilias (such as exhibitionism,) and other inappropriate sexual behaviors and interests (I do NOT do conversion therapy.) I am trained in trauma-specific techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR,) Motivational Interviewing, guided meditations/visualizations, and other person-centered techniques. I strive to help you find the strength and resources needed to overcome your struggles.
