About me

I love working with people to reclaim parts of or redefine themselves after life changes. Our society is one of constant movement and it becomes difficult to find/make time to rest or connect with self. I will support you in working towards or identifying your goals in therapy, finding new ways to prioritize self, and working through the circumstances that arise. Trauma, anxiety, and depression can often rob us of time, presence, or energy and I am here to support you through the challenges that past and present can cause.

I love when people find their voice or have an aha moment about something that has been challenging for them. I love being a part of the journey towards self discovery. I love understanding and helping others understand our humanity.

Brain science, the what and why of human behavior, and connecting the dots are some things that are really important in my work with Clients — no matter what stage you’re at on your journey, we will learn together about what reclaiming self looks like.

I am a person first and treat you as such. Although I am Person Centered/Solution Focused in my approach to Therapy, I also blend Narrative Therapy as I believe that my Client is the expert of their own life. Each person that I meet is someone that is giving me the opportunity to walk alongside them, often during some of their most difficult moments, and we will move at whatever pace you need. In a traditional CBT/DBT only model, the focus will be on where you are going and trust me -- we will get there -- however, I recognize that sometimes bits of the present or the past might serve as blocks to the path you are trying to take.
