Seashore Counseling Center’s goal is to empower clients to improve their situation which will enhance healthy behavior, improve relationships, do better at school or work, express emotions better, and think positively. We can help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so clients can function better and can increase their well-being and healing. Everyone has a different personality and a unique set of problems, so everyone’s path to healing should be designed differently. Life can be rough. I believe in customized and creative solutions for people. I use EMDR techniques, CBT and other scientifically proven methods of treatment in a non judgmental, empathetic way. I provide a safe, collaborative and inclusive environment during each session. I utilize various therapeutic techniques and tailor each session to each individual's needs. Sharon Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor in the state of Virginia. She is a graduate of Virginia State University and Regent University.
