About me

As a mental health therapist, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. What works for one person may not work for another, and it’s my belief that your journey is unique to you. I don’t claim to be the expert in your pain, your life, or your story. Instead, I see myself as a supportive partner walking alongside you, providing resources and encouragement for your personal growth.

One of the bravest and most empowering steps you can take is to understand your own story and allow yourself to continue growing from it. My role is not to dictate how you should live your life, but to help you navigate difficult times with greater ease. I aim to empower my clients to help themselves—a motto I have lived by throughout my own journey, both as a therapist and as a person.

Having worked with therapists who practice empathy, deep listening, and trust, I know firsthand the difference this kind of support can make. It’s my hope to offer the same to you, no matter how small a role I may play in your growth and healing. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you take steps toward a more fulfilling life.

My approach is also solution-focused, meaning I strive to help you reach the goals you’ve set for yourself. While it’s important to process and explore your emotions, I believe therapy should also be a place where you feel challenged and pushed to grow. You’re here for a reason, and my job is to ensure that you’re not just venting, but actively working toward the changes you seek. It’s not about repeating the same concerns week after week—it’s about making progress and moving forward.

If you’re ready to start this journey of growth, I’d be honored to support you along the way.

Areas of Expertise

Adults with Childhood Trauma
Many of us carry the weight of unhealed wounds from our childhood, often without realizing how they continue to influence our adult lives. As someone who has personally experienced childhood trauma, I bring a deep sense of empathy and understanding to this work. My approach integrates trauma-informed care, validation, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help you explore and heal the different parts of yourself that may still carry the effects of past pain. Together, we’ll uncover the strength within you to heal and move forward.

Life Transitions
Life is full of change—some welcome, others not so much. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a career change, becoming a parent, or navigating the end of a relationship, these transitions can feel overwhelming. My goal is not to dictate how you should live your life, but to walk alongside you as you navigate these pivotal moments. Together, we will explore your emotions, uncover your resilience, and find a path that brings clarity and peace during these times of uncertainty.

Anxiety, Depression, & Seasonal Affective Disorder
We’ve all heard the terms anxiety and depression, but living with them is a different experience entirely. Some days feel heavy, and it can be hard to see the light. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), I am here to help you develop coping strategies that work for you. My approach is focused on moving you from merely surviving to truly thriving—creating a space where healing, growth, and hope can flourish.

Couples Counseling
Relationships can be incredibly rewarding, yet also complex and challenging. Whether it’s navigating a rough patch at work, experiencing miscommunication, or struggling with trust and respect, it’s easy to feel stuck. I offer a neutral, non-judgmental space to help you and your partner find common ground. Using a variety of therapeutic modalities, I will help you both work toward the goals and solutions that best suit your relationship, fostering understanding, communication, and deeper connection.

Christian Counseling
As a Christian myself with a background in Theological studies, I understand the importance of integrating faith into the healing process. If you’re seeking to explore your mental health through the lens of your Christian beliefs, I can help you navigate this journey with compassion and biblical wisdom. Whether you’re looking for spiritual guidance, prayer, or simply a counselor who shares your faith, I’m here to support you in promoting both mental well-being and spiritual growth. This service is available upon request and is tailored to align with your faith and values.
