About me
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with 26 years of extensive experience in the field of psychology. I specialize in working with English- and Farsi-speaking adults, providing support and guidance as they navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, trauma, and various relationship challenges. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the cultural nuances that affect mental health, allowing me to tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs. My goal is to create a safe and compassionate environment where clients can explore their concerns, gain insights into their struggles, and ultimately achieve lasting healing and personal growth.
In our sessions, you can speak openly about what you’re going through, and I will listen with care and without judgment. Together, we’ll explore the experiences and patterns behind your struggles, find practical ways to cope with what feels difficult now, and work toward changes that matter to you.
I tailor therapy to your needs, drawing on EMDR, DBT, mindfulness, and other approaches when they are right for you. I offer telehealth sessions in English and Farsi and welcome the cultural experiences and values you bring to our work. Whether you’re facing a recent challenge or have carried something painful for years, we can begin where you are and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
