Treating adults, career professionals, and teens 15+, I know that you are here because life is hard right now and you’re not coping well. I get it. Sometimes we just need to clear out the emotional closet of gunk and redirect. I'm here to wade through it with you, and help you adapt, heal, grow, and reclaim your life from a variety of issues and concerns.

Let me first say, I am glad you are reaching out. I know it can be difficult to do so and I am proud of you for taking this step to invest in yourself and in the life you want. I believe everyone needs help every once in a while. We are meant to connect with others, not go it alone. That is the foundation of why I became a therapist. I want to see you move from being a victim of life, and circumstance, to taking control of life and being not just a survivor, but thrive. I know it can be difficult, but it's worth it. How wonderful it is it to say that you did it, that you took the steps needed and created the life that you want, are in control of, and are passionate about.

My clients are adults, career professionals, and teens ages 15+ that struggle with a variety of issues. Most seek out therapy because either something big happened and it knocked them completely off balance, or a lot of little things have built up and their ability to cope and manage life has decreased. Sometimes both. They come to me feeling anxious, sad, overwhelmed, or on edge. They may not be sleeping well, may be having relationship difficulties or dealing with some kind of loss like a job or even struggling with their medical health. There may be a history of abuse or trauma. Or they may simply feel stuck, uninspired, or alone. Many of them even come from marginalized community groups. Yet, no matter what happened or where clients are in their journey, I am here to empower them and help them get back on track, or in some cases, even start a new path.

I am a diversity safe, affirming, and inclusive therapist who is highly experienced and qualified, with 12+ years of providing therapy and having served thousands of clients. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified clinical supervisor with certifications in treating addictions, trauma/abuse, and grief. I am further trained in, and extensively work with, PTSD (military included); anxiety disorders, phobias and compulsive behaviors, relationships, life and spiritual fulfillment, life transitions, and women's issues.

Relatable, direct, and yet down to earth and compassionate, my role is to help you reclaim your life and embrace your authentic self. To get you there, I focus first on a therapeutic foundation of safety, mutual trust, teamwork, and connection, knowing that without them, therapy won’t work. Then, with my extensive training and expertise in a variety of therapeutic modalities, I will utilize integrative, strength-based, and holistic care to tailor techniques and therapy to your unique personality and circumstances so that you can be heard and express yourself, learn about (and work through) your issues, develop new skills, and achieve better life balance and wellness.

I encourage you to now take the next step and contact me so that we can get to work getting you back on track to where you want to be in your life journey and letting my office be your place to breathe, heal, and grow. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
