About me
Hello! My name is Shante Gregory, and I am a Christian and neurodivergent-affirming therapist. As a mother of two neurodivergent teens, I know the importance of encouraging and empowering our loved ones to love and embrace their differences, while acknowledging their limitations.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (#14915) in the state of North Carolina with experience working with individuals and couples across various populations and settings. In 2008, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina Agriculture & Technical State University. In 2013, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
Through my work as a paraprofessional, I was inspired to become a mental health counselor. I truly believe that God has equipped us with everything we need to do life; however, during the struggles of life we forget and need a little support accessing and applying the tools God gave us.
In 2019, I was excited to earn my Master of Arts in Counseling from The University of North Carolina-Charlotte. I specialize in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relational challenges, and life transitions.
I enjoy working with clients who are dedicated to doing the work to become the best version of themselves. If this is you, then I look forward to connecting with you soon!
