About me

I am a licensed mental health professional in Ohio with 14 years of clinical experience providing evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults. My areas of specialization include stress and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, sexual addiction and compulsive sexual behaviors, relational concerns including consensual non-monogamy and polygamous relationship structures, and trauma related to sexual abuse and victimization.

My primary theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have specialized training in Anger Interruption Therapy (AIT), Thinking for a Change (T4C), Core Correctional Practices (CCP), cognitive restructuring targeting Thinking Errors, and Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Use (CBI-SU). These structured, skills-based interventions address maladaptive thought patterns, emotional dysregulation, high-risk behaviors, and relapse cycles while strengthening pro-social decision-making, accountability, and long-term behavioral stability.

In my work with sexual addiction and compulsive sexual behavior, I utilize structured Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions focused on impulse regulation, cognitive restructuring, relapse prevention planning, and values-based behavioral alignment. When working with individuals in polygamous or consensually non-monogamous relationships, I provide affirming, nonjudgmental support that addresses communication, boundaries, attachment patterns, and relational stability.

For survivors of sexual abuse and trauma, I integrate trauma-informed care principles with cognitive-behavioral interventions to reduce symptoms of PTSD, shame-based cognition, and maladaptive coping patterns while restoring safety, empowerment, and autonomy.

My clinical approach is structured, goal-oriented, and outcome-driven. Treatment planning is collaborative and individualized, with emphasis on measurable progress, skill acquisition, and sustainable behavioral change. I am committed to providing an ethical, respectful, and clinically sound therapeutic environment that promotes accountability, resilience, and long-term growth.
