I am an experienced licensed mental health counselor dedicated to helping adults find freedom from a multitude of common mental health struggles to include, anxiety, depression, stages of life changes, relationship issues and so much more.

Hi! My name is Shannon and you probably found me because you are looking for a licensed mental health counselor to help you and support you through your struggles. Well, you’ve come to the right place. I have been practicing as a mental health counselor since 2015 and have worked with a variety of clients with a diverse set of struggles. BUT!!! Let me tell you some other facts about me that I think are equally important. Other than my education, I am also a broken and imperfect human being with loads of experience in life. I can walk with you through your struggles better because of my own experiences that I’m not afraid to share if it is helpful.

Let me tell you about myself personally first and then professionally. I’m a 49 year old, married woman whose first priority is Jesus and His will for my life. I have three grown daughters and one granddaughter. I also have a mixed family with my husband’s grown children and grandchildren. I love my family more than anything! Recreationally, I find exercise, nutrition and the outdoors are a few of my passions. My love for God influences my counseling as I practice biblical counseling for those who are seeking it. My love for holistic healing also influences my counseling for those who are seeking that as well. I consistently seek self improvement and growth and would love to help you with yours!!

My approach to counseling is multi-dimensional and is tailored to each person I work with. I work with an approach called Deconstructing Anxiety which brings in this multi-dimensional approach. It requires some work in and out of session in order for change to occur. I am willing to work with individuals 18+ years old with anxiety, depression, relationship issues and more. Not
to be repetitive, but for those who are seeking biblical and/or holistic counseling, these will also be addressed as our mental health is impacted by many facets.

I solely practice tele-health as I do not have a physical office. See out of pocket pricing details in the rest of my profile. I can also do coaching outside of those states I’m licensed in, but I cannot take insurance for states outside of my licensing network.
