About me
I specialize in holistic, integrative therapy for trauma, addiction, chronic illness, anxiety, and depression. If you are feeling completely overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating the weight of depression, or trying to manage the physical and emotional toll of a chronic illness, I want you to know you don't have to carry it alone. We will work together to move past symptom management and create deep, lasting transformation.
Are you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck in survival mode?
“He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how” – Friedrich Nietzsche
I believe that much of our suffering as humans comes from disconnection. When we experience hardship and trauma, we disconnect from our very essence out of pure survival. Our new normal becomes surviving. This lack of meaning and purpose can manifest in a variety of ways. My therapy is designed to help reconnect you with your “why” so that you shift from survival into meaning and live a purpose-driven life. Together we will identify your core values, unravel your limiting beliefs, and restore your nervous system to a state of harmony so that you can function in a way that brings you ease and joy.
My therapeutic approach is always person centered. I don’t believe in a cookie cutter method. Humans are complex, multifaceted beings and I believe that you deserve to be treated as the unique person you are. My interconnected worldview allows me to remain open and nonjudgmental. I recognize the healing power of feeling witnessed with empathy and compassion and it is my hope to create an environment where you feel safe to be exactly as you are. It is often when we feel truly seen and accepted that we are then able to move towards lasting growth. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can gently process painful memories, build practical coping tools, and reconnect with your inner strength at your own pace.
Lōkahi is a Hawaiian concept representing unity and connection. I believe wellbeing arises from being in alignment. When our mind, body, and soul are in balance, we can develop a deep sense of peace within ourselves that allows us to live in harmony with each other and the world. Although this state of being cannot prevent hardship or struggle, it brings an unwavering resilience and knowing that there is always hope.
