About me
I have experience working with individuals experiencing grief and loss, effects of traumatic brain injury, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am also closely allied with LGBTQ+, sex worker, and secular/nonreligious communities.
Everyone needs additional support from time to time to deal with life's challenges. I view each person as the expert of their own lives and take a collaborative approach to counseling. If you find yourself struggling with depression, anxiety, and stress, I'm here for you!
Working together, we can develop the tools and insights needed to achieve your therapeutic goals. In addition to this person-centered approach, I utilize mindfulness tools and solutions-focused, acceptance and commitment (ACT), and cognitive behavioral (CBT) therapeutic modalities based on your individual needs. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma treatment.
Although reaching out for help can be hard, the fact that you're searching for therapists shows you've already taken the first step towards improving your wellbeing. I look forward to walking with you on your mental health journey!
