About me
Sasha is a mental health therapist (aka clinical counselor) who specializes in helping individuals find solutions using a mind-body-soul and relational approach to deal with stressful life transitions to ongoing trauma responses, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, relationship issues, and career ambivalence.
Hi there! I'm glad you are taking time to care for yourself by reading this. From an early age, I was told I was born to help. This observation formed the basis of how I understand myself. I have worked in various human service roles the past 10 years, with 7 of those years dedicated to providing psychotherapy. Much of my early career focused on supporting youth and families, but I have determined my best work is helping adults who feel stuck and are ready for change and a new perspective.
Soulutions Clinical Counseling is a trauma informed practice that empowers adults to deepen their relationship with themselves in order to discover sustainable, soulful solutions. I aim to collaborate with individuals, which allows me to meet clients where they are. I encourage agency and authenticity as I believe clients are the experts of their lives. With my clients' trust, we address concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, self worth, perfectionism, relationship and sexuality issues, chronic health conditions, and career counseling.
I view my role as an inquisitive collaborator. Therefore, my focus as a therapist is to safely explore and understand the barriers that contribute to feeling stuck while supporting clients' strengths and wisdom to flourish into solutions. Every journey starts with a step and sometimes the first step is the hardest. But by considering therapy, you have taken that initial step. I hope connecting with me during a consultation phone call will be your next step towards meaningful and holistic change.
