About me
i am an experienced psychotherapist who is dedicated to helping individuals and couples heal to help shift energy so folx get involved in resisting oppression in their own ways.
i utilize traditional & holistic approaches interwoven into western science to help others achieve positive mental health. i work from a decolonial and abolitionist perspective. With 5 years of experience supporting individuals with substance use disorders as well as survivors of domestic violence, I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to my practice. Before entering the counseling field, I spent thirteen years deeply engaged in social justice movements focused on the liberation of all people and the protection of our planet.
Some of my personal beliefs is in the liberation from all systems of oppression and that a lot of healing can happen individually and must be reflected in communities so that there is a shift in individuals'/families'/communities’ energy so that more people can join in the liberation struggle.
