About me
I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and parents navigating anxiety, depression, perfectionism, OCD, relationship challenges, career decisions, and cancer recovery or caregiving. I provide focused, evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs.
As your therapist, I will provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you can feel truly heard and understood. In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to change or strengthen. From there, we’ll create a personalized plan tailored to your goals and helps you to move forward at your own pace. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back, build effective coping skills, and develop practical strategies to support meaningful, lasting growth in your life and relationships.
I have specialized training in anxiety treatment and certification as a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). I am also extensively trained in mindfulness and evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which explores the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which helps reduce fears, distressing feelings and unwanted or intrusive thoughts; and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which builds skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I integrate these approaches throughout treatment to help clients feel more grounded, manage anxiety and depression, navigate life transitions, and build healthier, more connected relationships.
When working with couples, I help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy Levels 1 & 2, an evidence-based approach that focuses on improving communication, increasing understanding, and enhancing overall relationship satisfaction. In our work together, we will identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical tools for managing conflict, and create space for more meaningful connection and partnership.
Seeing the meaningful difference therapy can make in people’s lives and relationships is what inspired me to become a therapist. With 12 years of prior experience in education as a counselor, teacher, and coach, I bring a unique blend of guidance, encouragement, and practical skill-building to my work. I value creating a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you grow, strengthen your relationships, and move toward the goals that matter most to you.
