About me
I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker skilled at assisting clients experiencing serious illness, grief, life transitions, anxiety and depression.
Hello. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s emotional challenges. I believe in the power of insight and resilience, and I’m passionate about helping people discover coping tools and inner strengths that support healing and personal growth.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with many individuals facing grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, relational struggles, substance use and addiction, trauma, and women’s issues—including the effects of domestic violence. I have experience working with individuals facing the challenges and adjustments that come with serious illness, as well as caregivers. My experiences in health care have deepened my understanding and given me a strong foundation to provide therapy to healthcare professionals, who are often navigating their own emotions related to the compassionate work they do.
I have a special interest in supporting people through grief in all its forms. I’m a Certified Grief Professional, and I understand that loss isn’t always about death—it can also come with the end of a relationship, a job, a role, or a sense of identity. Whatever shape your grief takes, I’m here to help you move through it with compassion and care.
My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, respect, curiosity, and collaboration. I strive to create a space that feels safe and non-judgmental—where you can bring your full self and feel heard. I tailor therapy to your individual needs and draw from a variety of evidence-based practices, including CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, DBT, and IFS, always with a strengths-based lens.
If you're ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to work with you.
