Hello! I am Sarah, the owner, and therapist of Waves of Hope RI from North Providence, RI.

I specialize in meeting with adults 18+ virtually. I provide individual sessions. I offer a culturally affirming, trauma-informed, supportive, confidential space to help you process and self-reflect on your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, be heard, find tools to improve your ability to cope with pain or challenges, problem solve if needed, and ultimately reach your goals.

Approaches that can be integrated into our sessions from my eclectic knowledge base include: Solution-Focused care, Mindfulness, Creative Stengths Bsed Self-Care Planning to improve coping, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Techniques, Narrative Therapy, and informed elements of Internal Family Systems/Somatic approaches.
