About me

I am an integrative therapist providing safe, tailored care to help you move through trauma, anxiety, and personal growth.

Welcome—I am truly glad you are here. Taking the first step toward seeking therapy requires genuine courage, vulnerability, and intentionality. I believe that finding a therapist who feels like the right fit—someone with whom you feel genuinely safe, understood, and respected—is the single most vital component of a successful therapeutic experience. I am an integrative, person-centered therapist dedicated to providing a warm, inclusive, and deeply affirming space for children, youth, and adults across Texas. Grounded in the core belief that you are the ultimate expert on your own life, my role is not to tell you what to do, hand down rigid solutions, or judge where you have been. Instead, I step into the therapy space as a supportive, compassionate partner—walking alongside you as you slow down, unpack difficult emotions, explore the experiences that have shaped you, and discover your inherent capacity for healing and growth.

My path into mental health care began with a deep curiosity about human nature and the complex connections between our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. During my undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, I pursued Psychology alongside a minor in Neuroscience and a certificate in Applied Behavioral Health. Exploring how nervous system responses tie directly to emotional well-being solidified my desire to support others through evidence-based, compassionate care. Beyond academia, my perspective on helping others was profoundly shaped by serving as a healthcare student leader and working as a private caregiver. Caregiving, in particular, taught me the true art of patience, empathy, and unconditional presence—showing me that meaningful support begins simply by showing up, listening deeply, and honoring each person's unique timeline.

Equally important to my professional background is my personal experience as a therapy client. I first entered therapy during high school while navigating major life transitions, perfectionism, anxiety, and periods of self-doubt. Experiencing therapy firsthand gave me an enduring appreciation for how powerful—and intimidating—it can be to open up to another person. I know firsthand what it feels like to sit on the client side of the couch, and this understanding directly informs how I show up for you today: with warmth, zero judgment, and the reassurance that you never need to have all the answers before stepping through the door.

Following my passion, I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Texas A&M University. Throughout my clinical training, I have worked with clients across diverse age groups and backgrounds. This breadth of experience reinforced my firm belief that therapy must be personalized. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, I integrate evidence-based practices tailored specifically to your needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.

How We Work Together
Statewide Virtual Accessibility: To eliminate the stress of traffic, commuting, or rigid schedules, I provide fully secure, flexible telehealth services across the entire state of Texas—including Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas–Fort Worth, Central Texas, and rural communities.

Specialized Virtual Care for Youth: Children (8+) and teens process their world differently than adults. Using interactive digital tools, virtual play therapy, digital art whiteboards, and safe co-play in online gaming platforms like Roblox, Minecraft, and Hopscotch Play, I meet younger clients where they naturally feel comfortable. Building projects and navigating in-game challenges together creates a low-pressure space to build rapport, practice emotional regulation, and rehearse real-world social skills.

Trauma Processing with Virtual EMDR: For individuals dealing with trauma, PTSD, or distressing memories, receiving EMDR basic training allows us to process difficult memories safely from your home. Grounding yourself in your own comfortable space—surrounded by personal comforts, pets, or your favorite environment—allows your nervous system to feel secure as we do deep work, without the added stress of driving home immediately afterward.

Whether you are a parent seeking engaging virtual support for your child, or an adult looking to navigate anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem struggles, or trauma, I am here to meet you exactly where you are with empathy, validation, and commitment to your journey.
