About me

I am a trauma-informed therapist who helps adults and adolescents move beyond survival, understand their patterns, and rebuild their lives with clarity and direction.

Many people who reach out for therapy aren’t dealing with just one issue. It’s often anxiety layered with stress, trauma layered with relationship challenges, or life transitions combined with emotional overwhelm. When everything stacks like that, it can feel confusing, exhausting, and hard to know where to start.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, chronic illness, disability, grief, and major life transitions. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and develop practical tools that improve how you feel and function in your daily life.
My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and focused on real-life change. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to help you better understand your thoughts, regulate emotions, and build healthier coping strategies. I also incorporate a nervous system perspective, helping you understand how past experiences may still be influencing your current reactions. Rather than focusing only on diagnoses or labels, I work with you to understand how your patterns developed and how to begin changing them.
A meaningful part of my work is disability-affirming care. I have a background in rehabilitation counseling and specialize in supporting individuals living with chronic illness, physical health conditions, and long-term recovery. In addition, I bring lived experience into this work. I have personally navigated trauma, multiple surgeries, and years of rehabilitation. That experience has shaped how I show up as a therapist—grounded, direct, and deeply respectful of what each person is carrying.
In our work together, we will identify clear goals and break them into manageable steps so progress feels achievable. We will focus on building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, and creating patterns that better support your life. I believe therapy should not only help you understand yourself, but also give you the tools to create meaningful, lasting change.
Clients often tell me they feel both supported and challenged in our work together. That balance is intentional. Growth requires both understanding and action.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you don’t have to figure it out alone. We can start where you are and build from there.
