About me

You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or simply not like yourself. Maybe you’re holding everything together on the outside but struggling internally. Or maybe it’s been hard to keep up at all. Wherever you find yourself, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, burnout, and life transitions. Some of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Others are seeking relief from distress that feels heavy and hard to manage. Many want both: practical tools for the present and deeper understanding of what’s underneath.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, we build coping skills to reduce anxiety and emotional intensity while also exploring how past experiences, relationships, and internal narratives shape your current struggles. I work from a trauma-informed lens, prioritizing safety, trust, and steady progress at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and am mindful of how culture, identity, family dynamics, and societal expectations influence mental health. I am bilingual in Spanish and Cape Verdean Creole and welcome clients who feel most comfortable communicating in either language.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and respected. Therapy can be both supportive and transformative — an opportunity to feel better and understand yourself more fully.

I offer a free consultation to explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
