SANDRA OLSHAK, LCSW

I am an experienced therapist offering individual telehealth services to clients age 18 and over. I am dedicated to making the telehealth experience warm and personal so that it is as close to an in-office experience as possible from the comfort and convenience of your own space.

I believe that finding a therapist with whom you are comfortable is one of the most important factors in the process. That said, allow me to introduce myself. I have been licensed since 1997 and have worked with clients of all ages. I have recently moved to Los Angeles after working primarily in the midwest and then spending the last 9 years living in Texas. I maintain licensure in both California and Texas and offer telehealth services to clients in both states.

I am a clinical social worker by training. What that means to my clients is that I consider the whole person, not just a list of symptoms. The clients that I serve present with many of the concerns that bring people to therapy, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, life transition and adjustment issues, self-esteem and identity, and grief and loss.

Working with individuals with ADHD is a specialty area for me. Whether you are newly diagnosed or you have been navigating your symptoms since childhood, I offer support to assist clients to work around the challenges and to develop skills to improve functioning. The focus of the work is on understanding the symptoms, identifying areas that are challenging, and developing a plan to deal with those concerns.
