About me
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of combined experience, I am dedicated to supporting children and families through life's challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Barton College in North Carolina.
I am a wife and mother to a fun-loving, twice-exceptional tween. My journey began in a small farming community in Eastern North Carolina, took me through the vibrant city of Los Angeles, and has now brought me to North Austin. Along the way, I've cultivated a love for caring for animals, indulging in arts and crafts, traveling and exploring the creative world of cake decorating.
For the past five years, I have been providing individual and family therapy, focusing on the unique needs of each clients with. My approach is grounded in a child-centered, trauma-informed perspective, which allows me to meet each child where they are on their journey. I specialize in working with clients facing complex needs, neurological disorders, and high-risk behaviors. By focusing on each child's inherent strengths and abilities, I strive to create meaningful connections and foster growth and healing in a safe, supportive environment.
I would be honored to collaborate with you to support your child and family, bringing my unique blend of life experiences and professional expertise to our work together.
