About me
I want therapy to feel practical, collaborative, and purposeful. Alongside creating space to process and understand difficult experiences, I believe in working toward tangible strategies that clients can use in their everyday lives. Together, we can work on managing symptoms, developing coping skills, navigating relationships and life challenges, and building routines and goals that support a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
My philosophy is inspired by the idea that life has monsoon seasons—some seasons bring storms, uncertainty, and disruption, while others bring opportunities for growth. Therapy isn't always about learning how to avoid the storm; sometimes it is about learning how to navigate it, care for yourself through it, and recognize what can grow because of it.
My clinical work focuses on supporting individuals navigating complex mental health needs, including moderate to severe mental health concerns, co-occurring diagnoses, trauma, and significant life challenges. I also work with individuals navigating bicultural and diasporic identities, cultural and religious trauma, identity development, and the experience of feeling “in-between” different cultures, communities, or expectations. I recognize that our mental health is deeply connected to our identities, relationships, environments, and lived experiences, and I approach each person's story with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
