About me

I am a nationally certified school psychologist and doctoral candidate dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based assessment, consultation, and counseling services that empower children, adolescents, and families to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Welcome. I am Samantha Guy, a Specialist in School Psychology and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families through thoughtful, evidence-based care. I earned my Specialist degree in School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and was honored to receive the 2022 School Psychologist of the Year – Early Career Award for the School District of Palm Beach County, a recognition that reflects both my professional commitment and passion for student success.

My practice is grounded in comprehensive psychological assessment, individualized intervention, and collaborative consultation. I specialize in learning disability and gifted evaluations, as well as the assessment of ADHD and behavioral concerns. I work closely with families and schools to develop practical, strengths-based behavior plans and strategies that support children both at home and in educational settings. In addition, I provide consultation services related to Response to Intervention (RtI) and Exceptional Student Education (ESE), helping schools use data-driven decision-making to promote student growth.

Beyond assessment and consultation, I provide counseling services to children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles in a developmentally responsive way, helping young people build coping skills, improve self-awareness, and strengthen resilience. I strive to create a supportive, structured, and collaborative environment where children feel understood and empowered.

I am currently pursuing my clinical doctorate, which further deepens my training in psychological assessment, intervention, and mental health treatment. My ongoing professional development reflects my belief that effective care requires both lifelong learning and genuine human connection.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to helping children understand their strengths, navigate their challenges, and develop the skills they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to partnering with you in supporting your child’s growth and well-being.
