About me
My name is Samantha Frum. I am a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have 8 years of experience working with adolescents, families, and young adults with a wide range of challenges.
As a Nova Southeastern University graduate with a Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health, I bring evidence-based therapeutic approaches to every client relationship.
In my practice, I work with preteens, teenagers, young adults, and families who are feeling stuck in cycles of conflict, silence, or emotional disconnection. Whether your teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, or behavioral challenges—or your family is weighed down by tension that never seems to lift—I provide a warm, direct, and collaborative space to address what’s beneath the surface.
I take a holistic approach to therapy while primarily integrating CBT, DBT and EMDR into my practice. Using evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with a family systems approach, I help clients build skills for emotional regulation, healthy communication, and resilience.
With CBT we'll explore how your thoughts influence your emotions, behaviors, and overall well-being. With EMDR we will create your Trauma Timeline and work to clear out distressing memories.
My goal is to guide adolescents and families toward greater understanding, connection, and relief from the stressors they’re facing.
