About me
Sometimes life feels like a lot, but we don't have to go through it alone. I believe we don’t only heal on our own but in relationship with others. The therapeutic relationship can be one of the most healing relationships, providing a space for vulnerability, humor, growth, and radical acceptance. It is an honor to be a witness to the evolution of your journey of self-discovery. I want to be there for the highs and lows and everything in between. My practice is holistic, meaning that I draw upon many therapeutic approaches and theories that address mind, body, and spiritual wellness.
As a therapist, I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment to look at the inner workings of yourself and also process the various things that impact your life on an individual and structural level. I’ve worked across levels of care, including outpatient, IOP and inpatient hospital settings, supporting teens and adults of various backgrounds navigating mental health challenges, trauma, and dual diagnoses. My background in trauma-informed case management with immigrants and refugees and research on women of color at predominantly White institutions shapes my systems-aware, culturally responsive approach in addition to my lived experience.
My approach is client centered and strength based. I also incorporate creative and body-centered practices into sessions to invite different ways of processing feelings and emotions. My hope is that the space we co-create allows you to go deep and become empowered to work on your goals. I look forward to supporting you, wherever you are on your journey!
